Isaac Marion and the Zombie Apocalypse

I don’t know how many of you out there are making preparations for the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse (and if you aren’t, you’d really better get on that…), but there’s a new work of literature to add to your arsenal of zombie lore. This book is Isaac Marion’s Warm Bodies.

It’s told from a zombie’s point of view, and not just any zombie’s, but the most dangerous kind of zombie: A zombie in love. With a human.

That’s right. Move over Romeo and Juliet, you’ve got nothing on forbidden love compared to these two.

**Julie and R, the dice was loaded from the start..!** (sung to the tune of The Killers’ Romeo and Juliet, obvi. And no, the similarites between the names was not lost on me. Think he planned it?? [Of course he did]).

Oh, sighs…zombie love…I’m choking up just thinking about it.

#WW (Writer’s Wednesday) isn’t really about book reviews, so I’ll just say that I read it, I loved it, and you should all buy it. AND (coming to the #ww bit of this) after I read his book, I discovered Mr. Marion has a personal blog called Burning Building where he sometimes posts hilarious flash fiction and other such fun things to stumble upon throughout your daily ramblings on the interwebz.

So check that out. Bonus: blog’s way funny. And I don’t know about you guys, but I like me some funny :)
